Baker Gurvitz Army - Sill Alive

At last a new sub-page. This one it wll be quite different from the others at www.pearlsofrock.republika.pl. The new stuff is on
Baker Gurvitz Army (abr. BGA) - a band composed of a fabulous drummer Ginger Baker and Gurvitz brothers. I remember the
moment I heard Ginger in Polish Radio. In the 70s Cream was oftenly played by the national broadcaster. Oddly enough, I learned
about Gurvitz brothers as...Curtis brothers on an LP by The Gun. The Gun was one of the few "western" albums issued in Poland.
For rock fans in Poland, the record was an object of cult, because the music from behind The Iron Curtain  was simply unavailable
in the country. So I didnt hesitate after Paul Gurvitz asked me to write a short note for new album by BGA entitled "Still Alive". I
simply did it! For the sake of good old rock music, so admired in the past and nowdays. Some information on the new stuff. It is a
box of two CDs with BGA's performances in Italy and Germany and a DVD with a concert for German TV.  The box also has a
small poster with the biography written by me. I really recommend you to get acquainted with the material, because it's worth it !
