East of Eden - the name is a synonym to Nod a place where the biblical fratricide, Cain, was exiled after killing Abel. For a wider audience,
the name East of Eden sounds like the title of John Steinbeck's book or the film by Elia Kazan. However, for almost every fan
of old rock the name East of Eden evokes sounds of Jig-a-Jig or Ramadhan - their two great hits. There are lots of stuff around with
information about the group. However, after flicking through the musical encyclopedias and anthologies, it stroke me that all the data was
insufficient, not to say incoherent. That notion was like a spur- I started collecting stories about the band from the very source - from the
members of the group, books, papers and the net. So, let's start a trip heading ... east of Eden.
All the data contained on the page is easily available. However, it is scattered around, in musical papers, books and the net.
A lot of information is based on the knowledge I got from the musicians.
It was a great fun, though very time - consuming and sacrificing a lot of work.
